Mission
Mission in central to the church. Everyone is encouraged to take part in mission, and many take up the challenge.
10% of all the offerings taken at the church are channelled in to mission. We have a very active Mission Team, who meet every month to pray, allocate money to mission, and arrange visiting mission speakers.
We make regular donations to several missions, as well as giving on-off gifts to many Christian mission organisations.
This year the church has supported SMILE sending about 140 shoe boxes full of gifts to children in Asia, the Balkans and Africa.
The church also supports organisations working to highlight the plight of persecuted Christians around the world.
The evening service on the 2nd Sunday of each month is devoted to missions. It may be a visiting speaker or a presentation by the missions team.
