Village of Hope & Grace
Village of Hope and Grace is a new mission work caring for orphaned children in rural villages in Tanzania.
Pete, Anita and Grace Ireland from the fellowship worked with the founder Rev. Julius Oscar in Tanzania in Summer 2008 and 2009 and want to encourage others to be involved.
Without help the orphans plight is hopeless, but it is amazing how a little money and lots of love can help transform lives.
As well as helping with school fees and books, the church fellowship has helped fund the purchase of two plots of land. One is for an orphanage for kindergarten aged children and the other is for a small farm that will provide food and income for the children and will, in time, be transformed into an orphanage for the older children.
A working visit is being planned for Summer 2010. It will involve aids awareness drama with the children, caring and teaching, and building.
